Longcraig runs a number of courses aimed at Scouts and Leader to enable them to get activity permits. These courses are usually based on the syllabus of the national governing body of the sport concerned.
Members of Longcraig staff are encouraged to book on to these courses using our Courses booking page. You should also apply for a grant covering 33% of the cost to the Region. Longcraig will waive any remaining balance for active members of staff. So in most cases* improving your skills will cost you nothing but your time.
To apply for a grant please fill in the online form at https://form.jotform.com/232841835761966 you will need to provide details of the course, including costs, provider, location, title, and dates, as well as the purpose of the course, most of this information can be obtained from our website or your course invoice which you will need to attach to the form.
Grant cheques will be paid direct to the LSC bank account, details of which will be on your invoice. Please ensure to quote the invoice reference
Members of staff who are also active in a Scout group may be able to claim an additional amount from their district and group.
